Kyoko Ikeda ``Kay'' Arnold, 60, died Aug. 7, 1996, in her residence.
She was born in Osaka, Japan. She was active in working with naval chapels, especially in San Diego, Calif., and Londonderry, Northern Ireland. She was an active amateur bowler and organized square dancing with People to People Programs in this country and overseas.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by a husband, Sidney C. Arnold Jr.; a son, Danny Lee Arnold of Durham, N.C.; four sisters, Kazuko Tomioka, Sakae Baba, Hiroko Yamagishi and Shigeko Toyoda, all of Japan; and was expecting her first grandchild. She was predeceased by her daughter, Shizuko Katrina Arnold.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Paul D. Moore and Chaplain D.P. Boyle, U.S.N. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge.
