Three fires broke out at Butler Paper Co. Tuesday night, and police are investigating them as arson.
They occurred in three trailer containers about 9:50 p.m. at the company in the 300 block of Newport Street.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around that time is asked to call Suffolk police at 925-6350 or Suffolk Crime Line at 539-1222.
The paper that burned was awaiting recycling.
