Marguerite Salmons Pargoe, 90, died Aug. 7, 1996.
A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Robert T. Pargoe Sr. and a member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, June Mann Johnson and her husband, Elmo, of Midlothian, Va.; a son, Robert T. Pargoe Jr. and his wife, Gail, of Chesapeake; a brother, T. Wesley Salmons and his wife, Doris, of Virginia Beach; four grandsons and two great-grandsons; and three nieces. She was also the widow of Fitzhugh Lee Mann and was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Humphries.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Larry Miles and the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today to receive friends. Mrs. Pargoe may be viewed by friends and family from 3 to 7 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Coleman Place Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
