ISABEL M. GOODMAN

Miss Isabel Margaret Goodman, 84, of Race St., died Aug. 8, 1996.

A native of Youngstown, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Ada Cartwright Goodman. Miss Goodman was a high school English teacher having taught in Luray for 20 years. She was a member of Green Acres Presbyterian Church and the Virginia Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include her brother, Richard W. Goodman of Walters and 10 nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Walter C. Hunting. Memorial donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of Green Acres Presbyterian Church, 3135 Hanley Ave., Portsmouth, Va. 23703. The family will greet friends at the graveside following the service. Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
