Barbara Ann Purdy Wenzler, 56, of the 200 block of Collins Road, died Aug. 9, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Wenzler, a native of West Camp, N.Y., was a school bus driver for Suffolk City School System for approximately 15 years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Presentation, Suffolk.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Frank Wenzler; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Kim Wenzler and Nolan Ambrose of East Lake, N.C., Michelle Rene Wenzler and Russell Dail of Suffolk; a granddaughter, Nicole Rene Dail of Suffolk; her mother, Mildred Graff Purdy of Suffolk; and a brother, Rodney Purdy of Catskill, N.Y. She was predeceased by her father, Norman Purdy.
A visitation will be held Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Harrell Funeral Home and other times in the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 902 Pennsylvania Ave., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
