Rosemary Coppedge Caprio, 81, of the 7200 block of Granby St., died Aug. 10, 1996 in a hospital.
Mrs. Caprio, a native of Portsmouth, was the daughter of the late John H. Coppedge Sr. and Mrs. Roselia Dolores Miano Coppedge. She was retired as a buyer from the Norfolk Naval Air Station Navy Exchange. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a longtime volunteer at DePaul Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary C. Allsopp of Orange Park, Fla.; a son, Michael J. Caprio of Norfolk; a sister, June C. Darpino of Chesapeake; a brother, John H. Coppedge Jr. of Portsmouth; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Julian Goodman. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. A Christian Wake service will be held at 5 p.m. today in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to DePaul Medical Center.
