Local food service vendors will sponsor a ``Burnt Pizza Blues'' party Sunday to raise funds for the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center in Virginia Beach.
The event, scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m., will be held poolside at the Harbour Point Condominiums on General Booth Boulevard at the south end of the Rudee Inlet Bridge.
Organizer George Kotarides, owner of two Dough Boy's pizza outlets at the resort, said the funds are to go toward housing for homeless and runaway children.
Food and beverages will be available for guests and entertainment will be provided by blues musicians William Gillam, Tommy ``Guitar'' Parker and Sandy Martin.
Admission at the pool entrance is $30 per couple and $20 per individual, said Kotarides.
For additional information, call Kotarides at 425-0031.
In addition to Dough Boy's, sponsors include Doughtie's Foods Inc., Roma Foods and Valley Foodservice and Poultry, all South Hampton Roads companies. by CNB
