I resent the constant barrage of criticisms of the Christian Coalition which is, in my opinion, persecution of Christians. As a Christian and a member of the Coalition, because it upholds my views and gives me a louder voice, I am waiting to hear that arenas are being built and hungry lions housed within.
Why is it worse for Christians to band together to voice their beliefs than the AARP or the labor unions? Why don't we hear about labor unions supporting the Democratic Party with monies extracted from paychecks of employees (both Republicans and Democrats)?
I am proud that as an American I have the freedom to be a Christian, a Republican and a member of the Christian Coalition.
