U.S. Sen. John W. Warner and Democratic challenger Mark R. Warner have agreed to at least two more debates.
The Republican incumbent said Tuesday he has accepted invitations to a televised debate in Williamsburg on Sept. 29 and a debate in Reston sponsored by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 18.
The Williamsburg debate is sponsored by the state's public television stations, WETA-TV in Washington and Landmark Newspapers in Norfolk and Roanoke.
Mark Warner, who is not related to the senator, had already accepted invitations to the two debates.
The Warners held their first debate before the Virginia Bar Association in July.
