Steven LaMar Smith, 30, of the 1500 block of Clay St., died Aug. 16, 1996, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mr. Smith was a native of Portsmouth and a graduate of Manor High School Class of 1985.
Survivors include his mother, Catherine Smith and father, Arthur L. Smith Sr., both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Bonnie S. Tazewell of Manassas and Thalia McCray of Portsmouth; three brothers, Arthur L. Smith Jr., Eddie Tyrone Smith, both of Portsmouth, and Charles Jeffrey Smith of Cincinatti; grandmother, Emmaline Smith of Portsmouth; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
