Ruby C. Grimstead, of the 1500 block of Old Virginia Beach Road, died Aug. 16, 1996.
A native of Princess Anne Co., she was the widow of Lonnie A. Grimstead Sr. and a member of Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two sons, Lonnie A. Grimstead Jr., Thomas L. Grimstead and a stepson, Walter Ferebee, all of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Larry Hinton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, is handling arrangements.
