Brian P. Damiani, 53, died in Philadelphia, Pa.
Dr. Damiani was born in Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Vicki Damiani. He was the division chairman at the Chesapeake Campus of Tidewater Community College for 15 years. He received his B.A. in history from La Salle College in Philadelphia and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. Dr. Damiani was chairman of Region 17 of the Regional Literacy Coordinating Committee and a member of the Community College Humanities Association, the Virginia Community College Association, the American Historical Association, and the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Aug. 24, 1996, in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the TCC Educational Foundation, Knight/Cowden Fund, c/o Tidewater Community College, Chesapeake Campus, 1428 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, Va., 23320.
