The body of a 39-year-old man was found by a friend in a home in the 100 block of Forest Ave. on Sunday, police said.
The case is being handled as a homicide, although police did not disclose the suspected cause of death. The body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an examination to determine how the man died.
The man's name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
Police said the man had been staying at the residence and his body was found about 4:30 p.m. when a friend came to the home looking for him.
