Police began a homicide investigation after a man was found dead in a car in Roberts Village on Sunday night.
Investigators went to the 1400 block of Roberts Road about 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a body in a car.
The man, who had suffered trauma to the body, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death, police said.
He was identified as Illinoise Williams Jr., 41, of the 900 block of St. Julian Ave.
