Mary Sivils Long, 96, died Aug. 23, 1996, in Lynnshores Manor.
She was a member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
She was the widow of John Labon Long and is survived by two daughters, Doris L. Barber and Mary L. Noel of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. The family will receive friends at the service and at other times at the residence. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
