Rufus Randall McCall of the 100 block of W. Lorango Ave., died Sunday, Aug. 25, 1996, in Hillhaven Nursing Home.
He was born in Southport, N.C., on Nov. 2, 1929, the son of Mrs. Juanita Dowless McCall of Evergreen, N.C., and the late Clyde McCall. He was retired from the Navy.
Surviving in addition to his mother are four sons, Clay McCall of Norfolk, Timothy McCall of Durby, Kan., Donald McCall of Beaufort, N.C., and Clyde McCall of Leland, N.C.; a daughter, Nancy Causey of Madison, Ga.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Eleanor Fields of Evergreen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Andrews Mortuary, Market Street Chapel, Wilmington, N.C. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m Wednesday in the funeral home.
