Peter Martyn ``Duke'' Cassin Jr., 24, a three-year resident of Hoodsport, Wash., died in a motor vehicle accident Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, near Lake Cushman.
He was born Aug. 3, 1972 to Peter M. and Mary (Levitt) Cassin in Virginia Beach. He attended college for a year. Mr. Cassin worked as the food and beverage director at the Tyee Hotel, Tumwater, Wash.
Mr. Cassin is survived by his wife, Cindy of Hoodsport; his parents, Peter and Mary Cassin of Virginia Beach; maternal grandmother, Regina Levitt of Virginia Beach; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Edward.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park.
