Frank S. ``Bob'' Doleman Sr., 80, of the 2100 block of Christopher Drive died Aug. 27, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
A native of Portsmouth, Mr. Doleman retired from Monument Dealer and also retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Fire Dept. He was a member and deacon of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Baker Doleman; a daughter, Judith Doleman Drake of Chesterfield, Va.; two sons, R. Ben Doleman and Frank S. Doleman Jr., both of Chesapeake; a brother, James Doleman of Beaumont, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Bethany Baptist Church by the Rev. Gene V. Primm. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
