Al Smith, of the 6000 block of Tradewinds Road, died Aug. 29, 1996.
Born in Princess Anne Co., Mr. Smith was a member of New Light Full Gospel Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Smith of Virginia Beach, Louise Oakley of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Booker T. Smith of Virginia Beach; a sister-in-law, Lenora Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Light Full Gospel Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Rudolph B. Lewis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Community Funeral Home Norfolk Chapel is handling arrangements.
