Mr. Robert B. Tutza, 83, of Wedgewood Lakes, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
He was a native of Hungary and had retired from General Motors. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League at Pinboys in Chesapeake and AARP. He was the son of the late Frank and Clara Banz Kovacs. Mr. Tutza is survived by his wife of 60 years the former Mary Pintye.
Besides his wife, Mr. Tutza is survived by two daughters, Joan Roberta Davis of Currituck, N.C., and Janice Susan Handler of Doylestown, Pa.; a son, Robert John Tutza of Hancock's Bridge, N.J.; a sister, Mary Zalewski of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Twiford's Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Moyock Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to The Crawford Rescue Squad at Sligo, P.O. Box 135, Currituck, N.C. 27929. Twiford's Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
