COLLECTIONS FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY: The Norfolk Professional Fire Fighters Local 6B, in cooperation with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Hills Department Stores, is sponsoring a Fill the Boot drive.
All donations will go the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The boot drive began Saturday and continues today from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Hills Department Store at 207 E. Little Creek Road in Wards Corner, Norfolk.
LABOR DAY CLOSINGS: City of Norfolk government offices, recreation centers, libraries and courts will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. All offices, courts, centers and libraries will reopen on Tuesday. by CNB
