Mary Anna ``McPherson'' Savage, 98, died Aug. 31, 1996.
Mrs. Savage was a long-time resident of Norfolk and Princess Anne County.
She is survived by three sons, Alfred E. Savage of Florida, Robert E. Savage of Virginia Beach and Ronald C. Savage of North Carolina; five daughters, Janie E. Hanna of Virginia Beach, Marie Anna Tuttle of Chesapeake, Katherine F. Offield of Mathews, Va., Nina M. Smith of Florida and Elizabeth Helen Watkins of Norfolk; 29 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Mrs. Savage was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Savage, and three sons, William M. Savage, Walter B. Savage and Nicholas J. Savage.
The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A chapel service will be conducted Wednesday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk.
