Charlotte Cecelia (Lottie) Cruse, died Sept. 8, 1996, in a local hospital.
Lottie was born in Exmore, Va., on January 28, 1912, to the late Suthey and Bernice Ashby Ames.
Survivors include a sister, Essie Stratton of Norfolk; a brother, Robert Ames of Port Norris, N.J.; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home.
