ZEA J. TAGUBA

Zea Jean Taguba, 25, of the 3500 block of Radford Circle, died Sept. 12, 1996, in Portsmouth.

Born in the Philippines, she was a legal student at Tidewater Community College. She was a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include her parents, Lolita Guarde Taguba and Wilfredo Taguba, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Zoe Jay Axibal of the Philippines, Zandra Loulette Taguba and Fannie Taguba, both of Chesapeake; a brother, Zekim Jim Taguba of Chesapeake; paternal grandmother, Basilia Dela Cruz of Chesapeake; three local uncles, Ralph and his wife, Linda Taguba, Nonato and his wife, Evelyn Almachar, Reyflor and his wife, Julie Taguba, all of Chesapeake; an aunt, Carmen Guarde of Libya; aunts and uncles in the Philippines, Tomas and Million Guarde, Recto Guarde, Ciriaco and Adela Guarde, Leticia Broceso Cuanan, Manuel Guarde, Lilia and Patricio; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday by Father James C. Griffin in St. Therese's Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A wake service will be held today at 7 p.m. in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, where the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. and visitation on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and other times at 3209 Peppercorn Drive, Chesapeake.
