George A. Ingmire Jr., 47, died Sept. 14, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
A retired telecommunications coordinator for the city of Norfolk, Mr. Ingmire was a native of Allentown, Pa.
Survivors include his mother, Jean Ingmire of Norfolk; his son, George A. Ingmire III of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Jeff A. Ingmire and Mike K. Ingmire, both of Norfolk.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church by Pastor Daniel Quiram. A private burial will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or to Alcoholics Anonymous. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
