Mildred ``Millie'' E. Amidon, 82, of the 100 block of Upperville Road, died Sept. 15, 1996.
Mrs. Amidon was a retired LPN formerly of Newport, N.H. She was born in Brockton, Mass., on Dec. 26, 1913, and had resided the past 11 years in Virginia Beach with her daughter and family. Millie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois Amidon Gray; and two sons, David R. Amidon of Hillsborough, N.C., and Alton L. Amidon of Havelock, N.C.; 17 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
Her remains she dedicated to the Eastern Virginia Medical School and expressed wishes for no memorial services.
