Lillan Clara James, 82, of the 200 block of Flank Road, died Sept. 16, 1996.
A native of Williamson, W.Va., she was the widow of Foster M. James. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Jarrells of Petersburg; two sisters, Patsy Marcum of Lorraine, Ohio, Doris Page of Williamson, W. Va.; a brother, Ishmael ``Jack'' Workman of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Charles N. Moore. The family will receive friends at 801 Fentress Airfield Road, Chesapeake. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
