``Telephone Trickery'' was not a reflection on Bell Atlantic, whose
invoice was shown. Bell Atlantic does not provide the pay-per-call
services referred to in the story - it is just the billing agent.
CORRECTIONS
Robert Smith, a co-plaintiff in a congressional district lawsuit,
is a customer services representative and specialist for a
credit-card service company. His employment was wrong in a Sept. 11
story about a court ruling on the 3rd Congressional District.
Andre Howell is a student at Elizabeth City State University. A
photo caption on Monday's Daily Break had the wrong school.
A story in Monday's Metro News section about the 20th anniversary
of Our Own Community Press made reference to another Hampton
Roads-based newspaper serving the gay and lesbian community, Out &
About. The story described the newspaper as being about half the
size of Our Own. Out & About, which reports a statewide readership
of about 60,000, publishes about 40 pages monthly compared to Our
