An historic water agreement between Dare County and the towns of Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head will be signed at formal ceremonies Friday, Oct. 4, at noon.
The 40-year pact will guarantee the towns their daily water supply, and establish clear guidelines in the event of a drought or major storm.
Supporters say the agreement will end decades of written agreements and verbal understandings between the three parties.
The ceremony will take place at the Reverse Osmosis Plant in Kill Devil Hills. by CNB
