Louise Bancroft, 73, of John Knox Tower, died Monday Sept. 23, 1996, at Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Born in Illinois, she was the widow of Joseph Bancroft. Survivors include her sister, Iris Cohn of Philadelphia; three nephews, William and Robert Neisler, both of Virginia Beach, Jim Cohn of Philadelphia; a niece, Theresa Muller of Virginia Beach; and several other family members.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church where she was a longtime member. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church.
