Mary Cosby Jones, 85, of the 1300 block of Canary Drive, died Sept. 25, 1996.
Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late William and Icy Bandy Spradlis and the widow of Artis Jones.
Survivors include children, Frances Overacre of Virginia Beach, Darlene Shepherd of Durham, N.C., and James Williams and Burnett Williams, both of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the London Bridge Baptist Church, 2460 Potters Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Terry Bourgeois. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
