Willie Edward Sebron Sr., 83, of the 500 block of Hosier Road died Sept. 26, 1996, in Autumn Care of Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
A native of Southampton County, Mr. Sebron retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 33 years service and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, Buckhorn Community of Suffolk.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E.M. Sebron; a daughter, Mary S. Stevenson of Suffolk; sons, Willie E. Sebron Jr. of Suffolk, Gene A. Sebron of Alexandria, Va., and Franell Sebron of Capital Heights, Md.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Bell Chapman, and father, Elijah Edwards.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Crocker Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Madison G. Copeland. Burial will be in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends at the home place, 506 Hosier Road, Suffolk.
