Eula Mae Malone, 78, of the 100 block of Gregg St., died Sept. 26, 1996.
Born in Warrenton, N.C., she was the widow of Cleveland ``Booster'' Malone Jr. and a member of First Baptist Church, South Hill, Chesapeake.
Survivors include a daughter, Florine D. Mason of New York, N.Y.; two sisters, Amy Bell of Washington, D.C., Frances Stevenson of New York City; a brother, Willie Alston of Warrenton, N.C.; four grandchildren, Adrian Smith of Detroit, Mich., Keybra D. Riddick, Phinoris Brown, both of Chesapeake, Eula Vereen of New York City; three great-grandchildren; a niece, Pamela Malone of Chesapeake; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at noon Monday in First Baptist Church, South Hill, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Michael R. Toliver and the Rev. Donald Johnson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. The body will be at the church at 10 a.m. Monday. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
