EDWARD C. BROWN

Mr. Edward Clement Brown died Sept. 28, 1996.

A resident of Atlanta for most of his life, Mr. Brown was born in New Castle, Pa., and attended Penn State University. After moving to Atlanta, he was widely known and well-respected in the furniture business for over 40 years. He was also an award-winning interior designer, and much of his work was showcased in national magazines.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edward C. (Margaret Freeman) Brown; a son, Kevin Edward Brown and his wife, Jann of Duluth; a daughter, Keely Brown of Atlanta; a grandson, Nicholas Edward Brown; a sister, Mrs. Edna Bixler of New Castle; a brother, Mr. Harold Alexander of Youngstown, Ohio, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Arlington Memorial Park with Dr. R. Woods Kent officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at H.M. Patterson and Son Funeral Home, Oglethorpe Hill, Atlanta.
