Robert R. Smith, 59, died Sept. 28, 1996, in Norfolk.
Mr. Smith was a Norfolk Stationery Office Manager and a Harrisburg, Pa., native. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Daphne Smith; a son, Gerald I. Smith, and his wife, Tammy L. Smith, of Virginia Beach; a sister, Carolyn McIntyre of New Philadelphia, Ohio.
A private service and burial will take place. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge.
