Frank Edward Cooper Sr., 74, of the 100 block of Holland Dr., died Sept. 28, 1996.
Mr. Cooper retired from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority after many years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3204, American Legion Post 599 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 392.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Mary Cooper; a son, David Cooper of Melrose Park, Pa.; a daughter, Eleanor Mae Freitag of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren, Charles A. Cooper and Rachel L. Cooper of Melrose Park, Pa.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3204, 1061 Newtown Road, Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Eagles Heart Fund, Aerie 3204. Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, is in charge.
