William Gerald, 53, of the 6400 block of Horton Circle, died Sept. 28, 1996, in DePaul Medical Center, Norfolk.
Known as Gerald, he was a janitor for Cuffee Janitorial Service. He was born in Camden, S.C.
Survivors include his daughter, Shontae Gerald; sons, Kelvin Gerald of Norfolk and Keith Gerald of St. Louis; mother, Elizabeth Gerald of Norfolk; sisters, Ruth Williams of Norfolk and Mary Hillian of Capital Heights, Md.; brothers, Jimmie Gerald of Norfolk and Waalee Shabazz of Suffolk; eight grandchildren; uncles, aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at 7419 Oakmont Drive, Norfolk. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge.
