Perla Mae Hill, 39, of the 100 block of Thalia Trace died Sept. 27, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Hill worked for the Naval Exchange in Subic Bay, the Philippines, for many years. She was born in Cavite City, the Philippines, and was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Pearl Micha Hill of Virginia Beach; her mother, Celia Mendoza of Virginia Beach; sisters, Nora and Resurrection Hill of Virginia Beach, Gloria Doligosa of Japan, Vickie Revillosa, Julie Valles and Flora Cannon, all of the Philippines; and a brother, James M. Hill of Virginia Beach.
A Christian wake service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by Father Leo Manelo. Burial will be in Cavite City, the Philippines. The family will remain at the funeral home to receive friends until 9 p.m. following the Christian wake service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
