Margaret L. Hines Stephens, 80, of the 1000 block of Deep Creek Blvd., died Sept. 30, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Born in Meherrin, Va., she was the widow of Theodore W. Stephens. Mrs. Stephens was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sisters, Rose Elizabeth Brown of Williamston, S.C., Emily Stephens of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Mary R. Jones of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; a brother, John Hines of Cascade, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel.
