Elizabeth S. Shear, 51, of the 400 block of Appian Ave., died Oct. 6, 1996, in Norfolk. She was born in Hastings, Mich.
Survivors include her husband, Walter T. Shear Jr.; two daughters, Suzanne M. Landies and her husband, Ted, of Enoch, Utah, Patricia L. Moore and her husband, Ron, of Philadelphia; three sons, Walter T. Shear III of Virginia Beach, Karl E. Shear and his wife, Susan, of Virginia Beach, and Brian P. Shear of Orange Park, Fla.; father, Allen S. Brumm of Deer River, Minn.; two sisters, Barbara and Martha; three brothers, John, James and Dave; two grandchildren, Ben and Grant of Virginia Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is in charge.
