Lucille Bulman Andrews, 86, died Oct. 7, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Alvan Andrews. Mrs. Andrews had worked at the Naval Supply Center during World War II from 1942 to 1945. She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church, where she was a former vice president and president of the Friendship Bible Class and a member of the Missionary Circle. Also she was a member of Ocean View Senior Citizens Club. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Bulman and Janie Capps Bulman.
Survivors include a sister, Blanche Virginia Thompson of Alhambra, Calif.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Andrews Roesch of Clifton, Va., Hope Lee Peritz of Arlington, Va.; a great-grandson, Sean Brooks Roesch of Clifton; and a daughter-in-law, Eleanor L. Andrews of Springfield, Va. She was predeceased by her son, Robert L. Andrews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. David Clay. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home.
