Julie Faye Kennedy Conner, 81, of the 300 block of 24th St., died Monday Oct. 7, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1915, in McKeesport, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Jula Toth Buhaly. She was the widow of Raymond Kennedy and Carl C. Conner. Mrs. Conner managed the theaters in Virginia Beach for a number of years and was a homemaker.
Julie is survived by two sisters, Irene M. Cregra of Richmond, Mary Houch Magette of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, George Buhaly of McKeesport; and also a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held in Reidsville, Ga., at the Bay Branch Cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Altmeyer Funeral Home. Persons wishing to send flowers to the service, may send them to Mcall-Cobb Funeral Home, Reidsville. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
