Three Dare County residents have been named to the board of directors of the Dare Voluntary Action Center.
Jerry Allen of the Dare County Parks and Recreation Department, Nancy Ballentine of First Union Bank and Joanna McDonald of radio station WOBR, Beach 95.3-FM, in Wanchese were introduced Monday night at DVAC's annual dinner.
Outgoing board members Mary Jane Sawyer and Claude Wells were recognized.
