REGIONAL/NATIONAL POSTS: L.T. ``Pete'' Parker, dean of financial and administrative services at the Franklin campus of Paul D. Camp Community College, completed a three-year term and was appointed to another for the National Association for College and University Business Officers.
The association consists of two members from community and two-year colleges from each region of the country. Parker and Dr. Robert Blood of Miami-Dade Community College (Fla.) represent the Southern Region.
NACUBO's mission is to promote sound management and financial administration of colleges and universities. Institutions of higher education in all 50 states and Canada are members.
Parker arranged for a panel of Virginians to make presentations at this year's conference, which was held in Minneapolis.
Parker also represents the Southern Region on the NACUBO Program Committee for 1996, and plays an active role in the Southern Regional Association for College and University Business Officers.
Parker received a bachelor's degree from Lynchburg College and a master's degree from Old Dominion University. He has been associated with Paul D. Camp Community College since 1970. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
