Julia Faye Kennedy Conner, 81, of the 300 block of 24th St., died Monday, Oct. 7, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1915, in McKeesport, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Jula Toth Buhaly. She was the widow of Raymond Kennedy and Carl C. Conner. Mrs. Conner managed the theaters in Virginia Beach for a number of years and was a homemaker.
Julia is survived by two sisters, Irene M. Cregar of Richmond, Mary Houch Magette of Huntsville, Ala.; a brother, George Buhaly of McKeesport; a special sister-in-law, Elsie Buhaly of Crossville, Tenn.; and also a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Lewis Buhaly of McKeesport, John Buhaly of Cinnicinnati, Ohio, Betty Jiles of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Albert Buhaly of Crossville.
A funeral will be held in Reidsville, Ga., at the Bay Branch Cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. Persons wishing to send flowers to the service, may send them to Mcall-Cobb Funeral Home, Reidsville. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
