Konstantious Stamatis ``Gus'' Theodorakis, 65, of the 200 block of Lawrence St., died Oct. 8, 1996, in Louise Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
Born in Weirton, W.Va., he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years' service and from Union Camp after 21 years' service. He was a member of The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anastasia Boutsouka Theodorakis; two daughters, Maria T. Evans of Murfreesboro, Margarita Theodorakis of Dallas, Texas; a son, Stamatis K. Theodorakis of Wilmington, Del.; two sisters, Irene Zervos of South Field, Mich., Fotini Wagar of Hudson, Fla.; four brothers, Mike Theodorakis of Steubenville, Ohio, Billy Theodorakis of Murfreesboro, George Theodorakis of Lake Waccamaw, N.C., John Theodorakis of Greenville, N.C.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nick Theodorakis.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Murfreesboro United Methodist Church by Father Savas Constantinou, Father Charles Goumenis and the Rev. William M. Jeffries. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and other times at the home of Maria Evans, 506 Meherrin Lane, Murfreesboro. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Murfreesboro Rescue Squad.
