DEATH SENDS MESSAGE

With the recent death of the young rapper Tupac Shakur, many of our young people are beginning to see that death is not a game. And when a death, especially a violent one, occurs, a whole family is torn and destroyed.

Today many of our youth find it cool and acceptable to carry a gun or some sort of weapon. They can readily identify a gun by its name, but have a problem reading a sentence or one paragraph. Parents, grandparents, teachers, concerned citizens - we must find some means and ways to reach our children. After all, they are the future.

We need more politicians who say ``enough is enough,'' let's all join together and find an answer. The killing of our young people changes things for all races and cultures and it's devastating.
