Haidee Carolyn Ewell, 99, formerly of Portsmouth, died Oct. 5, 1996, in Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Ewell was the wife of the late George T. Ewell of Portsmouth.
Survivors include her son, William K. Ewell; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at Green Acres Presbyterian Church on Saturday Oct. 12, at 4 p.m. by Pastor Walter C. Hunting. A private family gathering will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Hill and Wood Funeral Service, Charlottesville, is handling arrangements.
