Wil Blanchard, who owns this 1956 Ford pickup and a 1977 Volkswagen

Sun Bug, changes his oil every 2,000 miles once the odometer hits

50,000. His pickup has more than 500,000 miles; the Bug, more than

100,000. ``You really can't go wrong changing the oil that often,''

he says.

Susan Bond displays her 1972 MG with 179,000 miles. She and her

husband Terry own several cars with more than 100,000 miles.

JOHN BELL for The Virginian-Pilot
