Marie Agnes Pearte Cooke, 89, a Suffolk resident, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996, in Suffolk.
A native of Portsmouth, she was a Catholic and the widow of Julian Macon Cooke.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary A. Young of Suffolk; two sons, William A. Cooke of Norfolk and Julian F. ``Frank'' Cooke of Newport News; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
